Active PodiatryDr. Chae received his Bachelor of Science in Psychology at the University of Illinois , Urbana-Champaign in 1992. In 1996 he finished his studies at the Dr. William M. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine , graduating with a Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree.
Dr. Chae has completed two years of residency training in Chicago. His first year was completed at St. Bernard Hospital in Chicago, Illinois, and his second at Vencor Hospital. During his residency he has received training in techniques in wound care, biomechanics, orthopedic surgery, and reconstructive foot surgery.
Dr. Chae is affiliated with Eagle Highlands Surgery Center, Sycamore Springs Surgery Center , IU Health Methodist Hospital, and Community Hospitals. He specializes in reconstructive foot surgery, sports medicine, and wound care. He is certified in foot surgery by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery and is a member of the Indiana and American Podiatric Medical Associations. Dr. Chae is also a Fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons.
